Bitroot Testnet Faucet: Get Test BRT for Development

Deploying and calling contracts on the Bitroot testnet costs gas, paid in testnet BRT. The faucet hands out testnet BRT for free so you can deploy and debug without buying anything. Testnet tokens have no market value.

1. Claim testnet BRT

  1. Add the testnet to your wallet: Add Bitroot to MetaMask.
  2. Open the faucet at https://devnet.bitroot.co/faucet.
  3. Paste your wallet address and submit the request as the page instructs.
  4. Check your balance in the wallet or on BRTSCAN (https://devnet.bitroot.co/overview).

Claim limits, cooldowns and eligibility rules are set and shown on the faucet page itself. We do not repeat them here, because they can change without notice.

2. If the balance does not change

  • Confirm the wallet is on the testnet and that the Chain ID matches BRTSCAN.
  • Look up your address on BRTSCAN to see whether the transfer was sent.
  • Read the message on the faucet page: it states why a request was declined.
  • If the problem persists, reach out through the community channels or the Media Contact page.

3. What to do with test BRT

4. Common questions

Can I use testnet BRT on mainnet? No. Testnet and mainnet are separate networks with separate tokens.

Does the faucet ever run out? Availability is shown on the faucet page. If it is empty, try again later.
